Vero Sego

"Vero Sego is one of the rare female guitarists who can hold her own amongst the great guitarists of pop-rock...." Guitarist magazine 1998. She gave her first rock concert at the age of 13 and decided to become a professional musician when she turned 18.... Since then her passion for the guitar has remained just as intense. In 1997, she brought out a solo grunge album which captured the intensity of her fiery concerts and led to a hit single "J'avais une vie" (Musidisc). Then followed the album "Not a Bad Girl" in 2001, with the Belgian label Double T (also the label chosen by the famous band "K's Choice"). She was awarded the Gibson prize in 1997 and was selected for Fair 2001. Between 1993 and 2003, she played on stage at many concerts and festivals. She is a born teacher, and set up “The School of Rock” in Blagnac, with the aim of passing her knowledge on to others. Leading workshops for 11-17 year-olds, she teaches them the techniques of the greats... Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream.... She believes you need a strong base to build on.

Vero is also an expert in open tuning...a technique she performs live. She has just released her new folk rock album “...And the pursuit of happiness”' and in September 2009, will begin a series of concerts in Germany and Italy.
