100% Music Songwriting Contest is an annual songwriting contest that awards the best international songwriters, whether they are amateurs or professionals. After an initial selection made by the 100% Music Songwriting Contest, the 10 best entries in each category will be judged by an external jury composed of industry and media professionals. 3 winners per category will then be chosen, as well as 3 overall winners from each first-place winner in each category. In addition to awarding several thousand dollars to the winners and overall winners, 400 copies of a promotional CD, including the 9 first winners’ songs will be produced at the end of the contest, along with documents presenting the artists, with their photo, and contact details, some of which will be sent to the international music industry and media professionals who have been contacted beforehand and that have agreed to receive the CD (radio stations, magazines, music reviewers, TV music channels, music distribution, promotion companies and other music industry professionals). All these elements make the contest an incredible placement and promotional opportunity for both signed and unsigned artists. In addition, 30 copies of the CD and 30 artist presentation packs will be given to each artist included in the CD, for them to promote their music in the country/media or to the music industry professional of their choice. Contest sponsors will provide licenses for My Music Shop software (online music selling software), 3 Total workstation bundles from IK multimedia (orchestra and electronic virtual instruments), Blue Cat Audio (mastering, mixing and audio analysis plugins), Kong Audio (Asian virtual instruments), Guitar Pro (sheet music and tablature editor), Earmaster Pro et Earmaster Essential (ear-training software), Equinox Sounds and Producer Loops (music samples and loops) and a 1 year’s artist subscription on uaradio.net and musicgorilla.com.
