Christophe Jubé has been the artistic director of Ocean Music since 2003; he is the founder of the label and producer of around thirty discs.

He says: “We started building our house in 2003, after meeting Barzin, an amazing artist from Toronto, Canada. This house looks like a collection of artists and music that gets better and bigger, step by step. Our artists helped us to build this house, each of them bringing his/her own touch, decorating his/her own warm and sublime rooms. We open and close the doors of our house according to the seasons, to our desires and to the people we meet. Our house was not specifically built at the seaside. The name of our House, Ocean Music, imposed a complex family history upon us, and originates at the end of the 70's. There's no story with a capital S, but rather a few love, friendship and comedy stories. Imagine that you're with your friends, on a never-ending summer evening, an evening that would be both sweet and melancholic".
