The 100% Music Songwriting Contest is an annual songwriting contest that awards the best international songwriters, whether they be amateurs or professionals. Songs are judged primarily on music composition and melody, and production quality is not considered.  Contestants can participate in several categories that are related to different music genres.  At the end of the participation period, a pre-selection process will be carried out by the 100% Music Songwriting Contest and the 10 best entries of each category will be sent to an external jury that is composed of industry professionals. Three winners will be chosen per category and then 3 overall winners from each first place winner of each category.  At the end of the contest, several hundred thousand dollars worth of music prizes will be awarded to the winners and a promotional CD including the first winners’ songs will be sent to the artists included in the compilation and international music industry and media professionals who have been contacted beforehand and agreed to receive the CD.
